Boule Corrézienne
Discover this round loaf, a deliciously crusty bread with a light, fresh crumb. This rustic bread hails from Corrèze, south-western France, a region known for growing rye. Made with a mix of wheat and rye flours, its thick crust is scored in a cross or criss-cross pattern. A large amount of sourdough starter has been used, which means it will keep well, for up to five days in its protective packaging or in clean, dry cloth. With its delicious taste of the good old days, this Boule Corrézienne will go perfectly with cooked meats, cheese, dishes with lots of sauce, or hearty country fare.
Our anti-waste tip: slice the loaf and pop each slice in the oven for a few minutes. Transfer the slices of bread into bags and take the time to display them attractively in the shop. Then tempt your customers with freshly toasted bread.
